Official Email Experiment Email Number Two (and more free gifts!)…
SUBJECT: Official Great Email Experiment Email Number Two
Dear ~~FNAME~~,
I’m here again with email number two in the Great Email Experiment. This is the official message number two.
I wanted to drop you this note to let you know that things have been progressing nicely in Florida. I know the mortgage meltdown in the value of our homes have shaken up the entire economy and it’s had its effect here, too, most certainly.
The good news is, when you consider the climb in the value of housing over the past several years, the current drop we’ve seen in Florida and elsewhere is only a slight roll-back in value.
The real problem, of course, is when you got in.
My heart goes out to anyone who is currently struggling to keep up with the bills, handle current high gas prices and the rising prices of everything associated with oil, plus increasing mortgages, balloon payments and a drop in values.
Now we hear from the President that it’s all going to get better as soon as those checks go out to everyone. I wonder what to believe.
Is there an answer? Yes. I’ll tell you what it is soon.
Meanwhile, feel free to check out www_dot_GreatEmailExperiment_dot_com (replace the “dot” and “dot_com” and the “_” characters around them with the real thing to go there. I’ve placed this message there and there are links to some great gifts I’ve got for you today that you can also grab.
Watch for the next official email in our experiment — going out March 30.

NOTICE!
If you’re reading this on the blog and you did NOT receive the above email in your IN box by 5:00 p.m. eastern U.S. time on Thursday, March 27, 2008, please visit our BRIEF survey to report whether it failed to arrive or landed in your “spam,” “bulk,” or “junk” folder, rather than your “in” box.
If you didn’t receive the above email message, or if it arrived in your “spam,” “bulk,” or “junk” folder, rather than your “in” box, visit our survey form HERE to tell us about it:

If you found this email in your “in” box — do nothing more! Just keep watching the blog daily (or download our simple EZ RSS Reader software to do the watching for you).
NOTE: There is a “bug” we’ve found in the RSS Reader that’s being fixed right now. The software currently also has my E-Wealth Report Newsletter tied to it. We originally tested the software with that blog and it seems the programmer left it in by mistake when he provided the version we’re now using. A new version should be released soon. Meanwhile, if your RSS Reader blinks and you read it, then it blinks again the same day later in the day and it’s Thursday, that’s the new issue of my E-Wealth Report hitting that blog.
In ALL cases — I want to reward you with some great gifts, provided courtesy of my partners who helped spread the word about this Experiment and helped get you on board. PLEASE visit the gift site below and grab the gifts, to reward yourself and to show our partners you appreciate their efforts. I couldn’t have made The Great Email Experiment work without their help!

Thanks again!
The NEXT email in the series will go out March 30, on or about noon Eastern U.S. time.

Hi Alan,
I’ve got a question. Wouldn’t it be helpful to know which email servers and providers delivered the email as well as which ones were not delivering it?
You have this set up so that people only report if they don’t get the email and which provider they’re using.
But if people do get the email they do nothing. So if you don’t hear from someone it’s assumed the email went through ok. The problem is that with no report of successful delivery there’s also no report of which email provider was good enough to deliver it.
It will be helpful to know which providers are not doing their job but I’d also like to know who the good guys are. I also think it would be great if in addition to blowing the whistle on the rotten providers the ones who do a good job could be recognized and applauded.
I use Gmail and so far I’ve received all of the emails. And just so you know - I have not whitelisted your email address at all. It’ll be interesting to see if all of the emails are delivered with no filters or whitelisting in place. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Thanks!
Lynn
